Is a group of people who are interested in researching and preserving the history of Shilbottle and the surrounding area with a view to enabling that information to be available to future generations, to those new to the area, and to those who visit.
To that end we have set ourselves the objective of compiling a trail of the area, and hopefully setting up some information boards at pertinent points.
We are a fully constituted group who meet regularly to share knowledge etc, and also plan to have speakers who can elaborate on specific aspects of the regions history.
We welcome anyone who is interested to the meetings – the next will be held in the Parish Room on Monday 30th October at 7pm.
