Festival of St James 2022

Thank you for supporting our week-end celebration of St James

Our Coffee, Cake and Quiz event in the Community Hall on Saturday 23rd July drew an attendance of 50 people. We took £175 in door money and donations, the raffle brought in a further £155 and the sale of cake and produce netted £101.60 – a grand total of £431.60.

Another 50 adults attended our Sunday morning Festival Eucharist. Thank you to our guest organist and choir. It was a pleasure to enjoy refreshments outdoors after the service. 

Our final event of the week-end was the afternoon Treasure Hunt and Family Picnic. Some 15 children (aged between 1 and 12) and their families took part. The weather was kind and we were able to picnic on the grass after the Treasure Hut was over, 

 Supporting Good Causes

ALL  the money raised during our Festival Week-end will benefit local projects tackling the cost of living crisis, supporting refugees and creating greener public spaces.

A generous response from  those attending over the week-end and many of our church members means that income from all sources received will exceed £1,500.
