Why I go to church

I go to church to spend time with God. To pray and feel restored and renewed. To listen to teaching from the Gospels. The church is a holy place where I can gain strength, whatever I am going through. A relationship with God brings goodness and love into my life. I enjoy worshiping with others and being part of the church family. I find peace there as I can bring all my concerns and needs to Him “the peace of God, which transcends all understanding”

St James Shilbottle open daily for quiet prayer 9am to 4pm.

Morning Prayer: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 9am

Holy Communion: Wed 9.30am and Sunday 10am
